7 UNIVERSITIES, 5 LETTERS, 1 CHANCE FOR GLORY.

Watch university robotics teams — and their hoops-shooting robots — square off in a friendly game of
H-O-R-S-E on April 7.

Robotic technologies are gaining steam all across America’s agricultural landscape, improving farming yields and sustainable practices that help feed a growing population.

But can robots sink a bank shot?

Full contest rules here.

Materials and supplies to design and construct the robots have been provided by Land O'Lakes in partnership with AndyMark, Inc., a leading mechanical and electrical parts supplier with a focus on educational and hobbyist robotics. In addition, AndyMark contributed their extensive experience in competition robotics to the development of the Bot Shot event. AndyMark staff provides the university teams technical support throughout the robot design and build portion of the competition.

The road from farmer to fork

Land O’Lakes, Inc. is proud to be a nearly 100-year-old farmer-owned food and agricultural cooperative. Our business units span the entire food production system, giving us a farmer-to-fork view of agriculture. Pair this with our farmer ownership, and we’re uniquely qualified to fulfill our purpose of feeding a growing world population.

Top: South by Southwest: Land O’Lakes’ “The Food Effect” brought 2018 SXSW attendees together around modern food production in an interactive journey from farm to fork -- and everywhere in between.

Bottom: In the 2018 Land O’Lakes Farm Bowl, held last year in Minneapolis, professional football players competed on a whole different kind of playing field: the tough but rewarding field of modern farming.
